Both Clif and I will be working temporary jobs in Southeast Alaska until mid-November. We completed our first season together (as a newly married couple) aboard The Mist Cove, and then returned for a few more short jobs before our return back to Mexico late November. We're planning on spending some more time with family as we move south, as well as stopping in Moab on the way down to Guaymas and seeing some country that we haven't seen yet in all of our back-and-forth between Mexico and Alaska.
This fall is still a little uncertain as far as a cruising destination, but we're hoping that is what it will be, a cruising destination. We are trying to bring Sound Discovery to a new place this year, and are unsure if that will just be further south in Mexico, down to Panama, or doing an ocean crossing to Hawaii or Marquesas.
We will keep you posted once we get back to the boat and see what condition she is in, and how adventurous we're feeling this spring.
